This super special edition of Sweet Oblivion will see FLOSSY play their first all ages show in what feels like forever.
For those playing at home, FLOSSY is a four-piece bratty grunge pop band fronted by sisters Sinead and Lauren O’Hara with Tom Wilson on lead guitar and Steve D’Angelo on drums. In the past 18 months they have consistently brought their high energy performances to local venues and festivals around WA including City of Swan’s HyperFest, WamFest 2017 and RTRFM’s Fremantle Winter Music Festival.
Their first unofficial single ‘Cloudy Brain’ has been aired on local radio stations RTRFM and Radio Fremantle, as well as Fubar Radio in the U.K. FLOSSY is heavily influenced by nineties grunge and bands of the Riot Grrl movement such as Bikini Kill and Sleater-Kinney.
FLOSSY have recently finished recording their debut EP with acclaimed WA producer Dave Parkin at Blackbird Sound Studio which is scheduled for release in early 2018.
They will be joined by local legends SOAP, Broken Hymns, Middle Shelf, and Fage Atlas. $10 entry from 6pm.
